When you’re lounging around your lier, do you ever just find yourself pondering, “Who exactly is Gossip Girl?” I know I do. After rewatching season 3 of Gossip Girl on DVD, I’m kind of leaning towards Georgina.
At the end of season 2, Gossip Girl claimed she was going to reveal herself. Of course, that never happened. In her place was a text blast that she was following them to college. Lo and behold, Blair enters her dorm in season 3 and who’s her roommate, but none other than Georgina.
Georgina was in the beginning of the Upper East Side-set-goes-to-college storyline, but eventually she left. Of course just because she wasn’t around doesn’t mean she wasn’t in on all the hot gossip. Remember in episode 22 (Last Tango, Then Paris) when Jenny took that cellphone pic of Dan and Serena fast asleep in bed and sent it to Gossip Girl? This just proves that Gossip Girl doesn’t always have to be on site to be in the know.
Now Gossip Girl (or Georgina, whoever you think she is) gets a lot of her dirt on her site from all the drama that goes down at the fabulous parties and galas on the show. And isn’t that what we all want, to be talked about?
